Welcome to the Muppet Madness, devoted to all the silly, crazy, dangerous and sometimes touching things as performed by the Muppets. As mentioned before Muppet Madness focusses on the Muppets. This means we'll report Muppet-related news from around the world, including news on local productions like the national Sesame Street productions. You can also expect special reports on events like the current Jim Henson exhibition at the Museum of the Moving Image. Since there are a LOT of Muppets each Muppet will get his/her or its time to shine in our weekly Meet the Muppets segment meant to introduce the vast cast of characters.
A Muppet however needs a Muppeteer like a glove needs a hand. These often unsung heroes get the spotlight in our segment Muppeteer Spotlight of which the first one will be posted later this week so be sure to come back when the spotlight shines on one of the current key Muppet performers, Steve Whitmire, who is the main performer of Kermit, Ernie and a host of other colorful characters.
Since we're based in Europe we'll cover the European release of the upcoming movie coming February. Although we already had a chance to see the new movie at a US screening, we will certainly devote enough time and space to the European side of things and will watch out and warn for potential spoilers in our articles.
